🛟 Platform safety

Verification, protected contact, home access, prohibited work, incidents and off-platform conduct.

Account and work checks

Customers confirm a phone number and provide a full name and service address; routine customer selfie and government-ID checks are not part of cleaning signup. HomeCare Pros complete identity, live-selfie, address, reference, guarantor, payout-name and training checks appropriate to their role. A payment provider may separately request bank or identity validation for an optional regulated payment feature.

At the property

  • The assigned HomeCare Pro marks arrival and the customer receives an alert.
  • The customer checks the verified profile and agreed scope before sharing the one-time start PIN.
  • Pets, weapons, hazards and access restrictions must be disclosed and safely managed.
  • No HomeCare Pro is required to enter or remain where access, people, behaviour, substances or conditions appear unsafe.

Visit contact and conduct

  • The assigned HomeCare Pro may use the customer phone number only for directions, gate access and the active visit. It must not be saved or reused for private work.
  • Use HomeCare support and payment so records, replacements, re-cleans and other protections remain available.
  • No harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual conduct, coercion, private solicitation or off-platform payment.
  • Customers may not hire or arrange future services directly with an introduced HomeCare Pro contrary to the accepted platform terms.
  • HomeCare Pros may not solicit customer contact, payment or work outside HomeCare.
  • Do not record conversations inside a customer’s home.

Private reports and fair review

A HomeCare Pro may privately report a direct job offer from the linked visit. The customer does not see the report. Operations reviews the HomeCare Pro statement, in-app messages, visit timeline and support records. No customer or HomeCare Pro is punished solely because an allegation was made. A first substantiated customer attempt receives a warning; a repeat substantiated attempt results in suspension.

Incidents

For immediate danger, leave when safe and contact local emergency services. Report the incident to HomeCare as soon as possible. HomeCare may pause accounts, preserve relevant records, arrange replacement or recovery and cooperate with lawful investigations.
